Welcome to the TVLGA-9

The Tellico Village Ladies Golf Association 9 Hole League, (AKA TVLGA-9), is a competitive league, but it is also a league that has lots of fun and enjoys the camaraderie with members from week to week. To be a member of the league you must have a current USGA handicap or submit six attested 9 hole golf round scorecards. A handicap index of 46.0 or less is required. An application and dues (GHIN fee is included in dues) are submitted to the league treasurer to become a member of the league. The league does follow USGA rules. The league plays on Tuesday mornings and rotates from week to week among the three Tellico courses. Ladies can play from either the green tees or yellow tees. For some events, everyone plays from the yellow tees.

Some of the major events that the league plays are League Championship, Member-Member, Guest Day, Women Fore Women, and Solheim Cup. We also are invited to play as guests at several clubs in the Knoxville area. The first Tuesday of the month is usually Pin Day and the last Tuesday of the month is usually an Event Day. Pin Day is regular golf played, where the low net winner of the flight receives a ball marker. Event Day is one of several fun games we play that may be an individual, 2 person team or 4 person team game.  A $2.00 entry fee is collected from everyone and the money is given back to the winners of the event.
